Kate is the owner, founder and advanced injector at The Aesthetics Lab, formerly known as KD Injections.
She is a Nurse Practitioner who is certified in both Canada and the United States. She started her nursing career in 2014 and has an emergency medicine specialty. This experience has given her a solid foundation of clinical confidence and professional development.
Although she has a love for emergency medicine she has found a passion for cosmetic medicine and has been injecting for over 3 years. While performing cosmetic injectables this is where she really thrives. Her goal is to help enhance each client’s facial features to bring forth the most confident version of themselves. She focuses on creating proportion and balance in your face while delivering natural results. She believes that the best injectables should be unnoticed. Every treatment plan is unique because each face is different.

With over 11 years of experience as a Practical Nurse, Kayla brings a wealth of knowledge from her clinical experience to her passion project. In July 2023, she embarked on a new journey, establishing her Permanent Make-up business. Since then, Kayla has left a trail of delighted clients, having artfully tattooed and transformed the lives of over 100 individuals.

Kayla specialises in the exquisite art of enhancing your features. Kayla is certified in the Nano Brow technique, offering options such as Nano, Combo, or Ombré brows. She also specialises in Lip Blushing, adding a touch of colour, symmetry, and confidence to your smile.

Recognizing the significance of skincare, she dedicated time to further her expertise and obtained a facialist certification to provide comprehensive skincare solutions. Ever-evolving, Myriah is currently delving into the realm of hydrafacials, staying on the cutting edge of skincare technology to deliver optimal results. This marks a new chapter in her career, showcasing a commitment to staying at the forefront of the dynamic beauty industry.
