
Botox helps to diminish wrinkles, smooths and softens fine lines. Neurtoxins, better known as (Xeomin, Dysport and Botox) work by temporarily relaxing facial muscles and easing fine lines and wrinkles.
Fine lines are caused by repetitive facial movements. Smoking, sun damage and genetics also contribute to early signs of aging. Over time these lines become deep creases and wrinkles that prematurely age your appearance.
Neurotoxins are a FDA approved medication that consists of purified protein derived from the Clostridium botulinum bacterium.
To help smooth fine lines and wrinkles by reducing muscle contractions in the face.
It can also be used to help alleviate conditions such as migraines, TMJ & hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
A fine needle is used to inject an appropriate number of units into the target muscle. This treatment has minimal to no pain during and after the treatment.
Neuromodulators usually start to kick in around day 3-5 with maximum effect at 2 weeks.
The results typically last around 3 months.

Avoid alcohol 24-48 hours prior to treatment (increases the risk of bruising)
Avoid herbal supplements such as Ginko, green tea, vitamin E and anti-inflammatory medications (Aleve, Advil, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, Aspirin, ect.) for 2 weeks before and following treatment to limit bruising. If you have a cardiovascular history please check with your doctor before stopping use of aspirin.
This treatment is not recommended if you have an important event within the next 7-10 days of injection due to potential for bruising.
For Hyperhydrosis treatment, discontinue antiperspirant use 24 hours before treatment
Bruising, soreness, swelling and redness in or around the injection area as well as
minor asymmetry of the muscle is normal for the first 7 to 10 days following treatment.
During the first 4 hours post-treatment, please refrain from rubbing, massaging or applying pressure to the injection sites.
Refrain from heavy exercises for at least
24 hours, particularly any exercise that involves inversion.
Avoid facials for 10-14 days following neurotoxin injections.
It may take 10-14 days for the treatment to take effect. If you are experiencing movement in the area within that time,
we would like to ask you to please wait the full 2 weeks before any top-ups.
After 2 weeks, if you have any concerns, please contact the clinic for a follow-up appointment so that we can assess the area and treat accordingly.
The following are not suitable candidates for Botox:
Under the age of 18
Pregnant women and nursing mothers
Bleeding abnormalities (Anticoagulant use)
Neuromuscular disorders including: ALS, Bell’s Palsy, Myasthenia Gravis, Lambert-Eaton syndrome, Myopathies
Hypertrophic or keloidal scarring
Active infection in the treatment area
